Basically I want to be able to type http: // mysites , and it shows me my localsite, rather than typing http: // localhost: 8080 / ?
I intend to do this several times, for example http: // localhost: 8181 to <a3>
I thought you can do this through the hosts file?
All this locally on my machine
, hosts ( DNS-), IP-. cookie, DOT, - mysites.local mysites.ivor
mysites.local
mysites.ivor
80 - , IIS ( 80). - 80, , .
IIS, . IP-, 80, DNS-. , .
:
127.0.0.1 mysites 127.0.0.1 mysites2
, http://mysites:8080 http://mysites2:8081.
HttpRedirection 80. http://mysites http://mysites:8080, .

You cannot set a port with hosts files ... You just need to access sites like http: // mysites: 8080 , mysites: 8081, etc.
To do this, add an entry to your hosts, for example
127.0.0.1 mysites
(hosts are usually located in the C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts folder)
