Good Android Android Platform for Android Application Development

Question

Well, there’s at least one, possibly more, PC-based IDE for developing Android applications.

But now that Android tablets are becoming commonplace, what good environment for developing Android apps is in Android?

Edit: I would be more than happy to use Eclipse if it runs on Android ... or Netbeans, although this seems less likely?

The reason is because I just purchased an Android tablet and want him to eat his dog food.
