Firebug "net" tab doesn't show anything?

I usually run Fiddler to monitor network traffic, and now I use a Mac computer. I thought that the Firebug net tab could display traffic that loads through AJAX (the net tab is enabled). But if I try google.com and enter something, its “google hint” will show a bunch of suggestions, but does the Firebug “net” tab not display anything?

I use the clean tab daily as my preferred traffic sniffer and using Firebug 1.5.4 on Firefox 3.6.3 under Linux.

When you enable the net tab, it is important, please also pay attention to the Firbug show request. All requests, not just HTML or similar requests. I also suggest clearing all requests from the panel before you start sniffing the actual AJAX requests.

Well, after installing Firebug, he asked to restart Firefox, and this was done, but for some reason, the reboot did not help to make the net tab. So I quit Firefox and restarted again, and now it works.

even after a restart, FB Connect seems to suffocate again. Restarting worked again ... more details later ... it seems like this is the way to solve it for now - it's just restarting it.
