Finding information about scala operators

Im reading http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2008/04/external-dsls-made-easy-with-scala.html and I'm trying to find information about the "<~" statement, for example:

def trans = "(" ~> repsep(trans_spec, ",") <~ ")"

Do I have a reasonable assumption that this is related to the product operator ("~") along with the listings?

  • What is he doing?
  • In the future, how do I look for such operators? For example, this is not good for google "<~".

EDIT:

Found "<~" information in Scala combinator analyzers - distinguish between numeric strings and variable strings
