Is there a memory leak in javascript firefox / webkit? (except IE)

Question

I am new to HTML5 application. And I make my own software. This means that I can force users to use only the latest version of firefox / webkit.

I saw a lot of docs regarding JS memory leaks at this point:

• Circular links.
• Event handlers.
• Shutters.

As I think, this is just a problem only (old version) of IE. But I'm not so sure about that. Therefore, I ask that I have to solve this problem in my situation. If I need, what solution and what additional questions do I need to take care of?
