Visual programming tools you can use to develop applications

I have been interested in Visual Programming Languages (VPL) for some time . However, I almost did not see any environments that can be used for practical projects, such as Windows applications or web services.

I heard about the following:

Are there other VPL environments that generate executable programs and can be used for practical applications?

I don't know if this is enough for you, but you can take a look at Thyrd, which was recently shown at the last Emerging Languages โ€‹โ€‹conference:

This is not just another visual material, there really is something there.

It may be too late for this answer, but I'm interested in the same thing, and someone else can read this and find it useful. Here is a new one for building Windows applications called Korduene , but be careful, this is alpha only now.
