Convert SSIS package from 2008 to 2005

Question

Has anyone found a way to save the 2008 SSIS package in the old 2005 version?

We run both the 2005 instances and the 2008 packages developed for VS 2008 and need to be deployed on the 2005 server. Is there any way to do this?

Are you talking about saving packages in SQLServer repository? I recommend using file system deployment. It is more flexible and there are no 2005/2008 restrictions.
