MySQL TIMESTAMP value is greater than '2038-01-19 03:14:07'

I am wondering what will happen after 2038-01-19 03:14:07 with table fields, using TIMESTAMPas data type?

I always preferred DATETIME, but you apparently can't set CURRENT_TIMESTAMPas the default for this type. I mean, 28 years is not so long when you think about it (in my opinion, one way or another) ... So, what will happen to all these fields TIMESTAMP?

You may not be able to assign to a CURRENT_TIMESTAMPcolumn DATETIME, but you can assign to it NOW().
