How to embed fonts with FPDF and mPDF

I am trying to embed Helvetica Neue into my PDF file, but all the resources that I find on the Internet are overly complex and filled with what I consider to be unnecessary information.

Can someone point me to a step-by-step guide on including fonts in FPDF?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, this is much more complicated than it should be, although I got the job. The link below is a great link, but I could not get fondu to install, so I had to use TrueType on Windows, TransType Pro.
