Android app should not start when receiving an intent

Question

I wrote an Android application and the generated .APK file that I uploaded to the Android Market. Thus, the user can download this apk and install it on his device. How can I limit the launch of apk if it calls from another application via Intent. This means that my application should not respond to any intentions of other external applications.

Is there any possible way to restrict the launch of my application from intentions from another application? I'll wait for a response. Thanks Advance,
