Linked folder when saving html file

When you save the html file "completely" (unlike "just html"), the html file and its associated resource folder will be saved. Interestingly, when you delete the html file, the folder will be automatically deleted.

The folder should not be a regular folder. What is called, and is it possible to do this programmatically?

I searched Google a bit, but I can’t find the answer because I don’t even know what keywords I should enter, since I don’t know what it is called.

I believe that the Microsoft term for this special folder is “Connected File,” and I think it was introduced in Windows 2000, in other words, it is a Windows / Explorer function, not an Internet Explorer function. I have not seen anything about this, but this MSDN document could be a good starting point:

Are you uninstalling this from Windows Explorer? I think this is a feature of this program, not the operating system. Try to remove it using any other file manager: FAR, Total Commander, etc.
