NoSql (e.g. RavenDB) for time series financial data?

I started to learn NoSql and wondered what others think about the suitability of such solutions for storing and requesting financial data of time series.

For example, in a simple scenario, I would save the stock symbol, open, high, low, closed, volume, and timestamp. Then I would like to request this data based on the character and timeline range.

What do you think is a good document structure for this scenario?

Thank,

Tom

Edit: I am mostly concerned about the results of reading time series data queries in a NoSQL solution and a traditional RMDBS solution

Tom. What exactly are you trying to achieve? RavenDB can certainly handle this scenario, but you should be aware that RavenDB indexes are updated in the background. Your script seems to be suitable for a DBMS, so I have to ask why you are looking for a NoSQL solution.
