Google Chrome Extension: Mac Compatibility

I have a Tab Sugar A Google Chrome extension that works fine under Windows : during installation, you can click on its icon directly in the browser and access the Tab Sugar toolbar as a new page in a new tab.

But for some reason, it doesn’t work at all in Google Chrome under OSX : users feel that nothing happens when they click on the extension icon. Nothing. There is no new tab.

Since I don't have a Mac, any help on this will be more than welcome!

  • Make sure you are using Mac and Google Chrome (or Chromium).
  • Then install the Tab Sugar extension
  • Click on the extension icon in the browser
  • If nothing happens, you just play
  • Open background.html in a new tab:

    chrome-extension://libokbfffpaopdjmeofdfpmlanaenaje/background.html

  • Open the Tracking Developers Console ( Ctrl+Shift+i)

  • Try to understand what is happening there ?!

Change: . Alternatively, Sugar tab code can be viewed from the GitHub repository .
