Authentication providers "greyed out" in sharepoint 2010 (enable anonymous access)

I am trying to set up a sharepoint 2010 site for anonymous access. Following are the following lessons:

And a few youtube videos.

I was stuck fast at a certain point. When they tell me in the Central Administration, click "Site Actions> Site Settings> Application Management> Application Management> SharePoint - 80" . I'm doing it. The next step is to click Authentication Providers.

On my system, this parameter is "Greyed out" and is not selectable. I am also trying to click "Anonymous Policy . " The options in this section also cannot be selected.

Do I need additional configuration? Can anyone suggest a possible solution? or link an article to a solution? Mixed videos leave this configuration.

Here is the solution:

I went a different way and basically opened every option related to security / perms / anon.

I got from the central administration by clicking "Security> Specify Authentication Provider> Default"

If you are using Windows 8, make sure that the browser you are using for the update is in administrator mode.

Otherwise, just open another instance of "Run as administrator".
