How can I hide / disable the full-screen button in standard iPads HTML video surveillance?

Im writing an HTML5 page with an embedded video tag for the iPad.

How to hide or disable the fullscreen button? I just need to show the video without the full screen option.

As far as I know (I could be wrong, this is really not my area), you cannot tell Safari how to display standard video controls.

However, you can say that you don’t provide standard video controls (at least according to the HTML5 specification) by omitting the attribute controlsfrom the video tag.
