Is it allowed to download javascript code on iPhone?

I have a hybrid application, it is basically a website launched from the application folder inside UIWebview.

The problem is that I planned to upgrade my site by downloading the entire site from the Internet and then replacing the old website.

Today I discovered that Apple now provides App Store Review Guides, among other things, the following rules exist:

2.7 Applications that upload code in any way or form will be rejected

2.8 Applications that install or run other executable code will be rejected

Since my site has html, css and javascript, does this mean that my application will be rejected or there is a chance to accept? What do you think about this?

From the new agreement with the developer of the application regarding the download of executable code:

The only exceptions to the above are scripts and code downloaded and executed by Apple's embedded WebKit framework.

This includes javascript and mashups, so you should be fine.

Although, given all this, why didn’t you just let your application take advantage of the iPhone webapp? You still get the icon on the home screen and get rid of the Chrome browser without forcing Apple to approve your application.
