Display C # onlyonce message

Question

I would like to make a C # application that displays a message when the program starts, with a button that says "Do not show this message again."

When they click this button, how can I make it not display again the next time the program starts.

Any help is appreciated.

Also, I'm not sure how to show the message using a button in it (new to C #), so help with this would also be appreciated.

You can save this selection in the settings.

You just need to write this parameter somewhere that lives outside the current life of the program.
