I am developing a GIS application and I have used devices that display the NMEA protocol. There are many libraries for NMEA devices, but for Garmin there is only one that I found and it is not very complete: OpenGPS.NET
I have two questions:
- How to use a library with a USB device that does not create virtual com?
- Are there other, preferably free, Garmin libraries?
I also used Franson GPSgate to convert Garmin to NMEA, but there is a problem when the computer goes into sleep mode. When he returns, I must reset the GPS device.
