How can I stop the tree view of expand / collapse icons from fading when I lose focus in Eclipse?

I use Eclipse Helios and noticed that the tree image in the package explorer now automatically hides the expand / collapse tree icons when I divert attention from it. I personally find this behavior a little distracting and wondered if anyone knew how to disable it.

Introduced in Vista ( this thread says by design ), subdirectory indicators now disappear when the tree is out of focus. <w> And superusers had only one global parameter to prevent this.

  • Computer > Properties
  • "" ""
  • Fade or Slide Menus into View

Eclipse (, ?)

SWT Tree (TreeView), .
. " SWT Tree /.

This is the behavior of Vista (and Windows 7, I think). You can also see it in Windows Explorer. This is not an Eclipse problem.
