I can not find this information anywhere. Does the iPhone support the storage of cookies when opening a web page in full screen mode (by placing a link on the main screen)?
I experienced that the iPhone does not store cookies when using full screen mode (added to the desktop). Not sure why, it worked if I just ran it in Safari, as usual.
Finished using localStorage. This is actually less of a hassle to implement, so there is no reason not to use it.
