Why should I use WCF instead of MVC when creating a RESTful api?

I am trying to figure out when will I ever want to use WCF to create sedative services instead of something much less complicated like ASP.Net MVC? With MVC, I can easily control URLs and output. With WCF there is an incredible amount of know-how and complexity that allows you to work correctly.

Perhaps this question is argued, but I really have a limited understanding of WCF, so I am looking to form, rather than start a fiery war.
