I tried to customize Jersey using Spring using only annotations. I annotated my resource classes using @Pathand annotations @Component. Everything worked fine until I tried to configure some filters. I created a filter as follows:
@Service
@Provider @PreMatching
public class MyFilter implements ContainerRequestFilter {
public MyFilter() {
System.out.println("MyFilter()");
}
@Override
public ContainerRequest filter(ContainerRequest request) {
System.out.println("filtered");
return request;
}
}
It looks like a bean is being created and the filter is registered in Jersey, as when invoking the resource that I see:
INFO: Registering Spring bean, myFilter, of type pl.igt.filter.MyFilter as provider class
next to resource component registration information. I can name my resources and it works fine, but the filter is never actually used.
