Regular expression matching anything after the word

Question

I am looking to find everything that matches this pattern, the initial word will be:

organism aogikgoi egopetkgeopt foprkgeroptk 13

So, everything that starts with organismshould be found using regex.

^organism will match anything starting with an "organism."

^organism(.*)will also write everything that follows into a variable containing the first match (which depends on the language - in Perl it $1).
