I have a web application that uses TinyMce to allow editing of large text. Some of my clients are desperate to make it work on the iPad (which does not support content and therefore TinyMce does not work)
Currently, I have only the following options:
- Prevent editing large text when I discover a browser - this is the iPad. This is not a good solution, because my application relies heavily on editing rich text.
- Wait for iPad to support contentEditable
- Write your iPad app. This is not very efficient because it is a large complex application with lots of HTML and javascript, and I would have to rewrite it all.
- Use a different browser. As far as I know, none of the other browsers supports content content.
I really want to find some workable solution. Is there such a thing as an extended text editor that does not require content content? or does anyone have a clever idea that I haven't thought about?
Thanks in advance
Andy
