MD5 class does not exist in System.Security.Cryptography

Question

I do not see the MD5 class in System.Security.Cryptography, although I see SHA256. Clearly, I have a namespace for me. I do not see any notes on MSDN about this deletion for this Silverlight-style .NET implementation. Was it moved?

Agreed - it doesn’t exist, but you can try some of the re-implementations, for example, "Silverlight MD5 Implementation" in the MSDN Code Gallery.
