Does jqgrid prevent pager navigation?

Question

We use a custom formatter to display html text fields. In the case when the user entered the data and they clicked the next / prev button, we want to tell them: "You edited the data, click" OK "to stay on this page and save your data." How can you do this?

If the onPaging function returns "stop", paging will stop.
