Play a variable tone using Java?

Question

Returning to the Pascal class in high school, I had a small small program that would occupy an integer, and then reproduce the tone using the system speaker. The pitch will change based on int.

Are there any such features in the Java world? Could the alternative be in wav or ulaw and then change the frequency?
