This may not be entirely relevant for stackoverflow, but I don't have a better site where you can post this.
We received a request to develop something that can turn a real person into a 3D application, including textures.
Now I have no idea how to handle this, since we have no previous experience. So is this possible, and if possible, what kind of things do we need?
Edit: Just additional information, this is an idea with which the teacher studied at my school, and he wants him to be able to scan people in a few minutes. Thus, the use of multiple cameras seems most viable, possibly in combination with a green / blue screen.
