Registry path for TFS2010 custom validation policy?

Question

How can I register my own registration policy for VS2010 / TFS2010?

In 2008, this was the next path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ VisualStudio \ 8.0 \ TeamFoundation \ SourceControl \ Checkin Policies

But during 2010, the path ends after TeamFoundation, although I already have some registered policies from Power Tools.

I managed to find this MSDN blog:

But there it only shows how to register in the VSIX pkgdef file (which for me does not work completely). I can add the policy to VS2010, but I get a "build without registering" error if I try:
