Current status of PEP 8 rules?

Are all PEP 8 rules valid?

Are there any obsolete ones?

Is there a more explanatory cheat sheet that this one .

Here is the current version of PEP 8 . Last update is August 29th.

PEP 8 is still the preferred style guide for Python code. Watching changes in Django, for example, I see changes for PEP 8 (for example, "2 empty lines after import").

They are still suggestions, albeit strong, and differences in house style.

I still stick to PEP 8 rules, as they are recommended in the Python tutorial . I assume that everything is still valid, but others may be different (for example, Google has different rules).
