What is the lithium equivalent of CakePHP Configure :: load () and Configure :: read ()?

I would like to save the configuration data in separate files and load it / read it using the correct lithium method.

Depends on what it is for. We strongly recommend not to drop the global configuration if it is not managed carefully.
