How to make a weighted estimate of the density of the nucleus 2d in R?

I would like to get an estimate of the core density in R, and I'm somewhat discouraged by all the different packages. I need to be able to:

  • Indicate the scales
  • Specify Bandwidth Size
  • Enter basket size

How would you do that? Bonus points for a piece of code.

Disable the number of packets. First you have to choose which 2D kernel score you want. In the field package, you have the smooth.2d function, and you have the wonderful package of Brian Ripley, KernSmooth. Additional points for code snippets that you can provide help files, I will not copy them.
