SplitViewController overflows user interface when UISearchBar is in focus

When splitview is in portrait mode, the rootView is displayed as a popover. in this case, my rootView has a tableView with a SearchBar at the top. When I knocked on the search bar, a keyboard will appear, and the splitView popover will automatically adjust its height, but at the same time I get this at the top of the popover.
