Is there a TortoiseGit equivalent for TortoiseSVN "global ignore patterns"?
As fooobar.com/questions/11397 / ... was mentioned in this question , git has 3 levels of ignored files.
If you reference one in your own ~/.gitconfig, you can control your global ignore pattern (although this is not directly integrated into TortoiseGit ).
~/.gitconfig
global ignore patterns are stored in
where ~ is the home directory of users.
( - - global):
. git config.
