MongoDb via jndi

Do you know if it is possible to install a mongodb instance in spring, like any other db through a data source from jndi?

If you mean like regular RDBMSs with JDBC access, then there will be no answer.

Yes, maybe why rely on someone elses code when you can create your own JNDI factory? just create a class that implements javax.naming.spi.ObjectFactory and a bean that pulls the mongo out of the JNDI context, I configured it for the MongoTemplate spring data-mongo object.

Not completed by any measures, but hopefully will soon introduce a JDBC implementation that is already familiar to Java developers.
