Set the height of the extendable slider

I have a slider slider in my application. If I set wrap_content as the value for the layout_height field, the slider box will stretch to full screen. Using constants as heights is also not a good alternative. Is it possible to have a slider slider with the height of its contents?

Thanks in advance!

  <LinearLayout
  android:layout_width="wrap_content"
  android:layout_height="wrap_content"
  android:id="@+id/frameLayout"
  android:layout_gravity="bottom"
  android:orientation="vertical">
    <View
      android:layout_width="wrap_content"
      android:layout_height="wrap_content"
      android:layout_weight="1"
      android:background="@color/blue"/>
    <SlidingDrawer
        android:layout_width="fill_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:handle="@+id/handle"
        android:content="@+id/content"
        android:id="@+id/slide"

What is a container? LinearLayout? Add another empty element and give them as weight 1.
