Tests run before TFS validation

Does anyone know how to enforce all tests before checking for TFS?

TFS provides the so-called Gated check-ins. This means: a complete assembly is performed (which includes test runs) and must pass, otherwise registration will be rejected. This is quite demanding and time-consuming when working in a larger team, but otherwise works like a charm.
