The problem with Eclipse when programming for Android is "Updating External Folders"

I installed Eclipse to work as smoothly as possible, because I had a lot of problems with its lack of memory on my last machine. One configuration was to automatically update the workspace every time I save. I do not know if this is a problem, but I thought I was mentioning it.

Here is a screenshot of the error:

This happens every time I open Eclipse and save nothing. I also had another problem related to the fact that my workspace is compatible with Java 1.6 when I need 1.5. But then I switched, and the problem disappeared. Then this problem appeared.

Does anyone know any solution to this, because now it’s really annoying.

What version of Eclipse are you using? Android docs clearly state that Helios is not supported, so if you use Helios, this can cause problems.

You also will not indicate which OS you are using, and Eclipse runs more than one platform, so all types can occur based on combinations of OS and permissions.

Remember that this site is very similar to inputting errors. The more information you provide, the better the answers you will receive.

If you still have this problem: Yes, this is a well-known bug, and it is fixed. But the fix is not yet included in 3.6.1 - it is intended for 3.6.2.

Helios release 2 (3.6.2) XP Android tool v14.

Whenever I have a project that uses another library project and is updated, "Updating External Folders" will work for about a minute, which is too long for frequent builds. As a result, I get the jar library file directly.
