How do I view the size of data submitted to a form in Chrome Developer Tools?

I am browsing an old ASP.NET application and disabling ViewState for Gridviews where it is not needed. This reduces the amount of information sent to the server during postback, but I'm curious how much.

In FireBug, I can go to the "Network" tab, apply an HTML filter and deploy the specific aspx file that was published. Under this, I can click the Publish tab, and one of the values that it displays is the Content-Length of the message. (I had several pages loading 4 megabytes in postback ... YIKES!).

Does anyone know how to see this value in Chrome Developer Tools?

Starting with Chrome 10, they have added this feature! He is Content-Lengthin the section Request Headerson the tab Headers. This tab is available if you select Networkon the toolbar, and then click the file.

I am going to pretend that they did this because I submitted a function request. I changed the world!
