Create uuid in windows postgresql

I have a postgresql 9 installation on windows that does not have a built-in uuid generator. There is an OSSD package that can be linked to postgresql as a uuid generator, but it is only for * nix (I think).

How can I generate uuid in windows postgresql?

The one-click installer from EnterpriseDB has it. The DLL is called "uuid-ossp.dll" and is located in "(the Postgres installation folder) \ lib", and the SQL installation script is called "uuid-ossp.sql" and is located in the ("Postgres installation") \ share \ explicit "directory. You must run the latter in the database of your choice.
