Development.log not registering after file deletion

Question

I deleted the contents of the file development.logon my server because it became big. Then, when it was empty, I noticed that it had completely stopped working. Therefore, I completely deleted the file and continued not to write. Then I redo the file manually and still no luck. Any idea what is going on?

Try restarting the rails application server. It looks like you broke a pipe between the app and the magazine.
