Where can I find SVG or GeoJSON countries that use 2 or 3 digits of a country code?

I was going to use the Polymaps.org library (in combination with Protovis) to create a beautiful vector map of the world. However, the example (http://polymaps.org/ex/world.html) uses GeoJSON from Thematic Mapping, but countries are encoded by name, not by their two-digit country codes.

When I connect my data, I have problems with things like "Russia" and "Republic of Russia". Does anyone know a GeoJSON file for countries that use ISO codes of 2 or 3 digits? It seems crazy to use names.

Any other SVG file type will also be useful. I could create one, but I feel that it must exist there, and I just don’t know how to find it.

Not what you want, as it is not in geoJSON format:
