The connection must be valid and open an error

I get an error: the connection must be valid and open when I run this program. I searched on google and found only 2 people who have the same error. Can this be fixed? thank

You need to tell your team about your connection object. Add the link parameter to this line:

MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand myCommand = new MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand(insertQuery, connection);

Your team has no assignments to join. Try passing the connection to the command designer as follows:
