The best way to handle a training profile for your own distribution for inexperienced users?

We are developing an application for a company that wants to distribute this application at home to employees (30 to 40 iPads). I know that a special distribution profile expires in a few months with a standard developer program. As for the enterprise developer program. How long will this provisioning profile be valid?

The people who will use the application are really not in electronic things and are not in the main office. It’s normal for them to click the link in the email to download the new profile, but the problem is that the old expired profile will still be on the device and will block the new provisioning profile. But it’s too difficult for them to delete an expired profile manually! (Even if it’s not very difficult for most users, it is for them!)

I have come across this problem many times, because if I had not deleted the expired provisioning profile, the application signed with the provisioning profile would not open until it was deleted.

Is it possible to update the provisioning profile without deleting the old manually? Is it possible to extend the actual time period for your own collateral profile?

Please advise!

Thank you so much and best regards, zreak

AdHoc profiles are intended for beta testing, so it is expected that users will have at least some technical background or they will have a closer cooperation with the technical person.
On the other hand, “ideologically” expired profiles should not cause problems as long as you have a new one on your device, but in practice I also noticed some problems when trying to connect a debugger.
