Options for downloading files larger than 2 GB using a web browser

Good afternoon!

I am looking for options to download really large files (over 2 GB) using web browsers. I know that Java applet solutions will work, I know (and tested it myself) that Flash has an internal limit of about 2 GB. What about silverlight? Am I missing some way \ technology of this?

Thanks in advance!

To my knowledge, loading in .NET 4 is limited to "2097151" (2 GB). It can be installed in web.config

<system.web>
  <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="2097151" />
</system.web>

OK, so there is another idea: you can upload files to chunks. There 's a codeplex project that might come in handy.
