How can I make the edges of the drawers without smoothing?

I am creating a dice game for iPhone. I use SIO2 as an engine, but I think this question is more general for OpenGL.

Since the iPhone does not have support for smoothing, my bones look a bit sharp. If possible, I would like to make the edges of the cutter rounded and smooth, rather than sharp. I found one application, MotionX, that succeeds, and I think that without using anti-aliasing. See the screenshot here . If you look closely at the edges of the bone, you will see a floating transition from the brightly lit top face to the shaded side surface. It looks kind of far from here.

Does anyone know how to recreate such an effect?

If you look closely at the edges of the cubes, you will see a floating transition from the brightly lit top face to the shaded side.

Not sure if the iPhone supports this, but you can achieve this effect with a normal card:

Of course, you need to truncate the corners to get them round enough for the normal map to leave you to the end.

You need to create bones with slightly rounded edges and corners. Thus, there will not be a sharp transition between each person.
