Audio output to microphone

Hello everybody. Is there a way to output sound from my program and redirect this stream to the system input level of the microphone? I understand this may require that some low-level calls be "Pinvoked", but are there any articles that might help me. For example, if I were to run the audio output stream of my application into the Window program Sound Recorder, I would think that the sound comes from the microphone and thus records it. I do not want to record the stream, just output it to the microphone input of the device. Thanks for any ideas.

Consider exploring clean data (PC) or Max MSP (Mac) for this type of problem.

It looks like you are looking for a virtual audio driver. You can purchase Softonic software that already does this. If you need to create it yourself, you can control it using DirectSound (part of DirectX ) from Microsoft.
