Is Microsoft StreamInsight ready for Primetime?

I wonder if Microsoft StreamInsight is ready for production code? This is a great way to handle events in real time. But I'm just worried that this is a semi-white solution and not ready for a production environment with thousands of transactions and users who really beat it.

If you have experience that you can share, it will be really helpful.

I tried to use it, but showstopper for me was that the events could not contain nested structures and could not be larger than a fixed size (maybe 16k). If not for these restrictions, it would have looked pretty solid.

My rule of thumb is: if it is from Microsoft and within 12 months of its first release, then this is not ready for production.

The first MS products are very likely to be killed during the first year of release. Especially those that are released with a little fanfare.
