Exclude destination folder from search results in Eclipse

I was wondering if it is possible to exclude the target folder from the eclipse quick search :

Ctrl + Shift + R

If someone knows how to do this, consult.

Update: I am using Maven 2 and M2E , WTP Eclipse plugins.

  • Mark the “target” folders as “derivative” resources on the properties screen of these folders (this option is next to the read-only and archive rights).

  • In the quick search window ( Ctrl + Shift + R ), click the arrow in the upper right corner and release "Show Derived Resources".

Then these target files will no longer be considered in a quick search.
