Excel How to remove items in column 1 from column 2 and put the results in column 3?

Question

I read a similar question, but was not what I needed, and was above my head.

I have two columns with different number of rows. Each column has one name in each row. How to compare the first column with the second column. Removing names in the first column from the second and creating a third column with the result?

I am BRAND new to this and need a very detailed example. Thank!

None of the lines are in a specific order ...

Also, the delete column may be in the center and hold the column first, not me.
